This layout includes a separate section to list your Prior Experience. This makes it useful if you want to concentrate your resume on just the most recent relevant experience, while still including experiences from further back in time or previous positions in a different career.
Typically, resumes today only contain work history that goes back 10-15 years because experience from further back may not very relevant anymore and it may hint at your age.
