Taking yourselves out of the job-hunting mode once in a while can be very healing to both mind and body. If you’re having a down day, you have the option to stick with it and work at making the day end on a better note, or you can accept that you need time to process what happened and take yourself away from the search and do something a lot more pleasing, even a little self indulgent.

Taking some time off is fine, but watch how many days you’re taking off from the job search, too many and you risk losing all the good work you’ve done so far.
